MiStay Launches Mobile App to Provide Users with a Seamless Hotel Booking Experience on Time

MiStay was launched in April last year, although booking was limited at first only through the website.

MiStay, a travel tech company that allows hotel rooms to be booked by hour packs with flexible check-in and check-out times, has launched its Android app. Available now on Google Play Store, MiStay’s hotel booking app allows users to book hotel rooms only for the times they need. A full day has been divided into 3 slots based on different use cases – Morning (8am – 11am), Day (12pm – 7pm) and Night (8pm – 7am). Users can select one or a combination of several locations according to their needs.

MiStay was launched in April last year, although booking was limited at first only through the website. “We have seen a steady increase in mobile traffic over the past two months. Mobile devices account for approximately 60% of our website traffic and 80% of them are Android devices. The launch of the Android app is a first step towards our increased focus on mobile,” said Pranav Prabhakar, co-founder and CTO of MiStay.

Travelers who arrive in a city early in the morning and want to freshen up before a meeting or attend an interview can book the morning slot at MiStay’s partner hotel and save up to 60%. Travelers who have a long layover before a connecting flight/train can book day hotels near the airport and freshen up before continuing the journey.

MiStay is currently operational in 8 metropolitan cities in India – Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Gurgaon and Hyderabad. In these cities, MiStay has partnered with approximately 120 hotels including 5-star hotels as well as branded hotel chains such as Pride Hotels, Sarovar Hotel, Keys Hotel & Mango Hotel.

The app is available for free on Google Play Store and supports devices running Android 4.0 Kitkat and above. “We aim to provide a seamless booking experience to our users. No registration or registration process is required. Users can book a hotel in 3 easy steps,” Pranav said.
